CPR & First Aid Classes
CCAS offers CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid courses for all levels including ordinary citizens, babysitters, caregivers, teachers, coaches, and medical personnel. Classes are offered weekly. If you have a group from your daycare, doctor’s office, school, or church we can schedule a private class for your group! Group discounts are available!

EMT Training
CCAS offers EMT and Advanced EMT classes through South Ark Community College in El Dorado Arkansas.
EMT Class: This is an entry level course for people wanting to get into the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) profession. Courses are held two nights a week from 6-10pm in the CCAS training room. The course lasts for approximately 4 months (1 semester) Cost is around $500 and includes tuition, book, uniform, and other supplies. After successfully completing the course, students are eligible for challenging the National Registry of EMTs written and practical examinations to become licensed for practice in Arkansas. The EMT course usually offered annually at CCAS.
Advanced EMT classes: Advanced EMT is the next level above EMT. It is a shorter course lasting approximately 2 months. Courses are offered on demand.
Refresher Training: Refresher classes (required for re-licensure) are offered bi-annually. A spring and fall refresher is offered.
ACLS Training: ACLS initial certification and re-certification courses are offered on demand.
