We understand that these cards are a requirement for many jobs, and that you are often in a hurry to get your card. Great news! No more waiting!! We are happy to announce that certification cards are now issued within 24 hours of successful completion of all AHA courses! Most of the time you will have your card before you even leave our facility!!
Yes, we are happy to schedule a private group class for your business. We ask that private classes have a minimum of 4 students. Please email amanda.warren.newton@gmail.com to schedule a private class.
At this time, the American Heart Association requires that ALL students complete the in-person, hands-on session to ensure that you know how to apply the skills you have learned in the online portion of the course.
All American Heart Association courses require successful completion of hands-on skills to obtain a certification card.
Yes, we do offer classes after-hours and on the weekends.
We have found that most people are wanting to do the online hybrid option, so we do not have any regularly scheduled in person classes. However, we understand that some people prefer the standard, in-person, classroom style course. We are happy to accommodate you! Please email amanda.warren.newton@gmail.com to schedule a traditional classroom course at a time convenient for you.
Absolutely! CPR is a lifeskill that we feel EVERYONE should learn, and we work to make training convenient and affordable for everyone. We occasionally offer NON-CERTIFICATION courses for free to church and civic groups. Here are some reasons why we normally charge for CPR courses: 1) We have to pay the American Heart Association for each certification card we issue 2) CPR manikins and other training equipment is quite expensive and we want to supply you with quality equipment to learn on 3) We believe that our instructors’ time is valuable, and we want to be fair and compensate them for their time teaching these courses.
There are several AED supply companies that we work with. We are happy to discuss options for purchasing an AED with you. We can also help point you in the direction for AED grants that may be available for your organization. The Blue & You Foundation associated with Arkansas Blue Cross/Blue Shield is an excellent option to look into. Information may be found at https://blueandyoufoundationarkansas.org
