Columbia County Ambulance Service has been proudly serving Columbia County, Arkansas since 1988. We provide both emergency and non-emergency transportation to patients in Magnolia, Waldo, McNeil, Emerson, Taylor and surrounding areas. The company is owned by Amanda Warren-Newton. Amanda is married to Joey Newton. They live in the Magnolia area with their four children. CCAS has 4 Paramedic level ambulances, 1 Advanced EMT ambulance and 1 BLS ambulance. In addition to transporting the ill and injured, we also provide event standby for area rodeos, fairs, festivals and other large events. Our training department provides initial and continuing professional level education for EMS providers and other medical professionals in our area, as well as CPR and First Aid training for members of the community. Our Medical Alert Button program helps senior citizens remain independent longer by giving them an easy way to summon help. CCAS is active in state and national EMS matters. Amanda Warren-Newton currently serves as the President of the Arkansas Ambulance Association, an organization representing ambulance services across the state. CCAS is also a member of the American Ambulance Association.
